During the last days the vets from austria treated about 200 dogs & cats with antiparasitics and prepared them for the operations. On the 9th of july D. V. M. Wittaya Khacheeram, Head of Livestock Development, Animal Health Office, Satun Province, seven vet doctors and about 25 dog catchers will arrive on Koh Lipe working together with the austrian vets on spaying the cats and dogs.

The vet teams will spay most the dogs on the island. The plan is to increase the hygenic situation and keep more control about the dogs population for a sustainable help to this vital community.

MVM Clarissa Udvardi: Founder of the Koh Lipe Vet Care Project, after graduation( vetmeduni vienna) working experiences in Germany, Texas (A&M University), Austria, IVAS proofed veterinary acupuncturist. 2007 Clarissa started her own animal practice in Vienna - since 2008 she is studying Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Jasmine Moser: student at the vetmeduni vienna - working experiences in Canada and Austria (animal hospital hollabrunn) – since 2010 vet assistent at the Tierarztpraxis CzerninplatzVienna.
